Make Final Arrangements With Our Pre-Planning Consultant at Friedrich-Jones & Overman-Jones Funeral Homes

lanning ahead by pre-planning your funeral may be the greatest gift you can give your family.

Working with a funeral professional to make your final arrangements, well in advance of your need for such services, just makes sense: you provide all of your vital information, you document your specific wishes, and you relieve your family from the burden of guessing what is right for your final tribute.

Benefits of Funeral Pre-Planning

Both you and your loved ones will benefit when funeral arrangements are made long before they are necessary. Discussing plans in advance affords you time to make the most optimum decisions regarding the type of ceremony and services you prefer.

A carefully planned funeral service will also be a comfort to your family, sparing them from facing decisions that can be so difficult at the time of your death. And it will give them lasting peace of mind knowing they have acted in accordance with your wishes.

We encourage you to share your thoughts and decisions with your family and give specific directions for contacting the proper professionals when the time comes. During this time of planning ahead, you may also find it worthwhile to seek advice of an attorney, a bank or trust office, and your clergy or spiritual advisor.

The family and staff of Friedrich-Jones & Overman-Jones are available to walk you through your service options and the related costs. We also offer you our helpful checklist, serving as a guide to prepare you for the information that will be introduced at the pre-arrangement conference.

We will also inform you of the different payment plans we have available to suit all budgets. An arrangement conference typically lasts from 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending upon each family and their individual choices.

We highly recommend taking this step with our funeral professionals to plan ahead for your future end-of-life needs.

Review this checklist in preparation for the arrangement conference.
